DarStar Renovations renovates residential, cottages and commercial properties throughout Manitoba.  Everything from kitchen, bathroom and rec-rooms in residences.  Commercial renovations include reception areas and disability bathrooms for personal care homes.

Our expertise is not limited to indoor renovations and our photo gallery includes some of our window and door installations.

In Winnipeg we know how short our summers can be and we have helped many of our customers enjoy their outdoor spaces by installing new patios, gazebos and outdoor kitchens.

Knowing the right renovation to invest your money in is important to ensure you get the most bang for your buck!  Any renovation you take on is personal and it can be that you are looking to upgrade an area in your home to increase the return on a potential sale. Or it might be a home you just purchased and you want to give it your personal taste or touch.  And it could be your forever home and it is time for a change.   

1. Flooring - Hardwood floors are still the number one request from customers.  Now there are so many other choices such as laminate or vinyl in various colours and styles.
2. Hardware & Fixtures - it may sound like a simple inexpensive update that doesn't seem like a lot, but updating your faucet, sink, toilet or vanity makes a big impact.
3. Bathrooms - Majority of today's home owners state that they would like their bathroom to be like a spa.  Bathrooms are generally a smaller area so they require less materials with the right upgrades have huge returns on investment.
4. Kitchens - Kitchens will give you the largest return on investment than any other room in your house.  You can complete a great renovation on any budget with the right decisions and a good contractor!

Our Condo renovations were large as he completely renovated our kitchen with new cabinets, paint and flooring.  All of the windows and doors were replaced in our condo as well.  

The end results were more than we could have asked for and we receive nothing but compliments from family and friends.  We would recommend DarStar Renovations to anyone looking to have a large or small renovation project completed.  Darrell was also sensitive to our budget restrictions and there were no surprises once a figure was agreed upon.

From concept to completion, Darrell was always extremely helpful in making creative yet practical suggestions regarding design possibilities.  He advised me on all aspects of the renovations including recommendations on best materials – from flooring, tiling, counter tops, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures, to finishing touches such as door pulls and lighting.  He took the lead in sourcing all items and assisted in pickup and delivery.
